If you find two transactions on page 2 of your invoice with identical names and registration times, please contact us indicating the invoice number in question.

Why do transactions with the same name and the same entry time appear on statements for France?

If two transactions with the same name and the same entry time are found in statements for France, we recommend checking the gross amount. If the amount differs, it is probably a ‘LIMITE’ transaction.

‘LIMITE’ transactions refer to border areas between the different toll zones in France. In France, there are different toll operators that divide the country into different zones. These zones are often referred to as ‘LIMITE’ areas. Even if it is the same route, these transactions are not double bookings!

Several toll zones of different operators can be travelled through during one journey without the driver noticing this directly, as there are no visible barriers or gates. However, each toll operator charges for the route within its zone. For this reason, it can happen that several transactions are charged with the same collection time.

Why do ferry invoices for Scandinavia show transactions with the same name and the same entry time?

If two or more transactions with the same name and the same entry time are found on ferry invoices for Scandinavia, we recommend checking both the gross amount and the tax rate (VAT). If the amount or the tax rate differs, it is probably a transaction listed in two parts.

In this case, a distinction is made between the toll and the ferry, as these must be recorded separately due to different VAT rates. This is necessary in order to correctly take into account the different tax regulations for the toll and ferry charges.

The transactions are transmitted to us one-to-one by the toll operator and we also pass them on to you unchanged.
